Beet Root 500 mg x100 CONTAINS DRIED AND POWDERED BEET NUTS. THEY PROVIDE A WIDE SPECTRUM OF HEALTH BENEFITS, PRIMARY OF THEIR BLOOD-STIMULATING, ANTI-ANAEMIC EFFECTS. IMPROVE OXYGEN CONSUMPTION AND ENDURANCE DURING SPORTS AND OTHER PHYSICAL EXERCISES. THEY ARE VALUABLE IN THE PREVENTION AND THERAPY OF CARDIOVASCULAR PROBLEMS, ESPECIALLY IN HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND ATHEROSCLEROSIS. THEY HAVE A HYPOGLYCEMICAL EFFECT AND ARE AN EXCELLENT SUPPLEMENT TO THE DIETARY REGIME FOR OVERWEIGHT. THEIR POWERFUL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES SUPPORT THE MUSCULATION AND THE BONE-JOINT SYSTEM IN RHEUMATOLOGICAL CONDITIONS.

BEETLE TUBERS: AN ABUNDANT SOURCE OF BIOACTIVE COMPONENTS
Raw beetroot tubers contain protein, calcium, magnesium, iron, folate, choline, beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin, vitamin K and phytosterols.

Important components of the root are pigments, the collective name of which is betalains. They represent two separate classes – reddish-violet betaxanthins and yellowish betacyanins. The combination of these two types of pigments determines the color of the tubers in different beet varieties. Betaxanthins predominate in red beets, among which the leading agent is betanin - the main dye in the roots.

The tubers also contain nitrates (not derived from artificial fertilizers applied in agriculture), whose role is particularly important – they enhance the vasodilating and cellular respiration-enhancing effects of endogenous nitric oxide.

A valuable component of beetroot is the amino acid betaine.

The tubers also contain water (87%), carbohydrates including sugars and fiber.

The fat content in red beet is very low, which also determines its low caloric value - about 43 kcal per 100 g.

IN WHICH CONDITIONS DOES RED BEET HELP?

ANEMIA
The anti-anemic effect of red beet has been known since ancient times. Being rich in iron and folic acid, it has a good effect on iron deficiency and megaloblastic anemia. In case of megaloblastic anemia (among which the most common is the one that develops as a result of vitamin B12 deficiency), it is necessary to combine supplementation with red beetroot extract with intake of B12 from other sources (diet and/or dietary supplements).

PHYSICAL EXHAUSTION AND MUSCLE FATIGUE
Natural nitrates and other phytochemicals in red beets have ergogenic properties (reduce fatigue during intense sports and other intense physical exertion), counteract muscle damage, relieve pain.

The nitrates in beetroot are metabolized to nitric oxide in the body, which has been shown to support cardiovascular health and improve athletic performance.

Nitric oxide functions as a signaling molecule that dilates blood vessels, increases blood flow, supports lung function, and stimulates oxygen transfer to muscles. As a result, cardiorespiratory endurance and athletic performance are improved.
